Plastechnica 2026 – a New Innovation Hub for the Plastics Industry at Ptak Warsaw Expo
From June 16 to 18, 2026, Ptak Warsaw Expo will host the first edition of an event entirely dedicated to professionals from the plastics sector. The International Trade Fair for Polymers and Plastics Processing Technologies – Plastechnica is a new space that will connect manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers of raw materials and technological solutions with decision-makers, engineers, and operators of plastics processing plants.

The circular economy (CE) is a model of production and consumption aimed at maximizing the use of resources through their repeated use, repair, regeneration, and recycling. Unlike the traditional linear model of “take–make–use–dispose,” CE aims to minimize waste and maintain the value of products and materials in the economic cycle for as long as possible.

Industry 4.0 is the concept of the fourth industrial revolution, based on the digital integration of machines, systems, and people into one ecosystem. Advanced Raw Materials and Biopolymers
Modern raw materials and biopolymers such as PLA and PHA play a key role in transforming the plastics industry toward sustainability. In 2025, there is a dynamic increase in the production of these materials, driven by the growing demand for ecological alternatives to traditional plastics. Biodegradable plastics like PLA and PHA are innovative materials designed as eco-friendly substitutes. Due to their ability to biologically decompose, they can be processed in a way that minimizes environmental impact.
